ScoreBig has cheap and discounted tickets to a number of upcoming Temple Owls Basketball games, and because I have an affiliate relationship with ScoreBig, I can share links to those savings. You’ll find those links below to all the games where I saw ticket prices as low as $1. I know there’s no guarantee that you’ll get cheap tickets at that price, but it’s worth a try, right?

Note: Please be sure to scroll all the way through the list below. Though I tried to list all ticket dates in chronological order, I’m seeing that this isn’t always happening, and I apologize in advance about that.

The Eagles play the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday, November 13th, at 1 p.m. at the Linc, and the folks at ScoreBig just let me know that there are cheap tickets still available. I’m told that if you make an offer around the $50 mark, you’ll score tickets to this Sunday’s game. The catch? You must make your offer before 11 a.m. Eastern on Friday. So if you’re an Eagles fan and want to go see this game, head on over to ScoreBig through this affiliate link and see if you can’t score some cheap tickets to the game.

cheap ticketsI just learned about a ticketing site lets you score tickets to special events–sports, concerts, and more–for up to 60% off. It’s called ScoreBig.

Rather than work as a “regular” discounted ticketing site, ScoreBig works on the Priceline/eBay model. That is, you pick the price that you want to pay for your tickets, and if your offer is “accepted” (i.e. there are tickets available in that price range), that’s the price you pay for your tickets. ScoreBig has you choose a city to link up with so you can see geographically targeted tickets that are available.

I had to register on the ScoreBig site to get the chance to see the kinds of tickets you can, well, score through the site, and it was quite amazing. You can find tickets to Eagles and Flyers games, and trust me, there are a TON of Flyers tickets available. So if you’re a Philadelphia Flyers fan, this is a good site to know about.

I also found tickets to Jerry Seinfeld at the Borgata this weekend–only 1 day left to bid on those; too bad I’m busy–and “The King and I” at the Walnut Street Theater.

What’s great is that you can search for tickets NATIONWIDE as well. For example, if I wanted to head into New York City to catch a Broadway show, ScoreBig could help me get tickets to “Mamma Mia,” The Phantom of the Opera” and “Anything Goes.”

Since learning about ScoreBig, I’ve partnered with them to create a Philly on the Cheap-specific landing page at ScoreBig to help my readers score tickets at a discount. Since this site normally works on an invitation-only basis, using the links I provide here on Philly on the Cheap will allow you to skip the whole “are you on the list?” invitation red tape and go right to the site to see the tickets available. ScoreBig is sharing a small commission with me for sharing this information with you.

Expect that from time to time, I will post about specific events coming up for which discounted tickets available. For now, though, I would recommend that you click through and sign up for ScoreBig–it’s free–and see what the site might have to offer that interests you.
