Active duty military members and their family can enjoy free museum admission on Labor Day, thanks to the Blue Star Museums program.
Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment of the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 1,800 museums across America. This free admission program runs from Memorial Day, May 28, through Labor Day, September 3, 2012.
There are more than 50 museums within a two-hour drive of Philadelphia, in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, that are a part of this program. They are:
