If you’re hoping to get a family field trip in before the kids go back to school–or maybe you’re a history junkie all on your own–then you’ll want to know about this deal at the Franklin Institute.

You can get tickets to the popular Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit for up to a 50% discount or half off. This is through one of my affiliate relationships with Goldstar.

Here’s a bit more about the exhibit.

Dead Sea Scrolls: Life and Faith in Ancient Times is the most comprehensive collection ever organized of ancient artifacts from Israel, and will be on display in Philadelphia for a limited time. Among the more than 600 items on display will be never-before-seen scrolls; an actual stone from Jerusalem’s Western Wall, widely known to Jews as the highly sacred site of the Temple Mount; limestone ossuaries, or burial boxes; and objects from everyday life more than 2,000 years ago.

Currently, the dates available for discounted tickets through the end of August include:

  • August 20th-24th
  • August 27th-31st

As you can see there are no weekend dates available for cheap tickets. Note: If you’ve never purchased tickets through Goldstar, you’ll need to do a quick registration first.
