The Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope has been revived, and has a full summer performance program in progress right now, with a Rodgers and Hammerstein musical revue, and Neil Simon’s “Barefoot in the Park” this August. But on July 22nd, the Playhouse is having a special event that I’m hoping to get tickets to so I can attend.
The Bucks County Playhouse continues its celebration of Rodgers and Hammerstein with a one-night only screening of The Sound of Music. This classic Julie Andrews film musical will be presented in glorious, full-screen Technicolor, complete with subtitles so that the whole audience can sing along! You are welcome to come in full costume, too.
Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children. You can purchase tickets through the Bucks County Playhouse website.
